well,

For a while I've had my amps just sitting in the back of my x-cab, and it's really been bugging me, but I never had anytime to actually go out and work on it.

So, today, I had some time, and went out. It was a long and hot day, my jig saw broke (not fun), and one of my clamps broke (also not fun). But after all of that, this is what I ended up with. Still needs carpet, but that can wait...

Dash light help - Mazda B2000

Dash lights.. The only things that work are the clock and idiot lights.

Checked the fuse not the problem. I read somewhere on BScene about it possibly being the switch for the dash light dimmer control going bad. Any suggestions?

Here's something I am working on to beat the brice at the pump.

(Not my vid, just working on the same project)

Tap water into hydrogen.. you too can make hydrogen.

It's highly flammable, so be careful.

There are claims if used with your current gas engine you can double you milage. My dad knows someone using a similar set up, and is nearly doubling his mpg!

random orbital goodness

I recently bought a 10" Random Orbital polisher and some polishing compound, to take care of the Cabrio, but decided to give it a try on the pickup today. I know it's still a rusty POS, but i figured what the hell...

weekend project

this is my buddy's 85 S15. FBI rear setup, dropped uppers and lowers, spindles, 20" BOSS rims. we spent one weekend priming and sanding, then the next we prepped and painted, cut and buffed, and reassmbled for a show. the later part taking place from fri night, til 3am. then sat from 3pm til midnight. then showed sun.

My new weekend cruiser

I picked up a 95 VW Cabrio about 2 weeks ago. So far i swapped my suspension out of my GTI into it, put on rims I had but never used yet, washed/waxes, cleaned up the interior a bit, and changed the steering wheel (ugly square airbag center) for the non-airbag nice leather wrapped one out of my GTI.

more changes to come as cash allows, trying to save up for a paint job (re-paint stock colour) late in the summer or this fall.

Looking for a 86-93 Mazda B series truck, std or ext cab, short bed, any color, with a/c. Prefer white black, silver or blue... but will entertain all colors. Looking for a well maintained truck that is fairly mechanically sound. Mechanics over looks is my primary goal, but would prefer the interior exterior to be in good sahpe as well. Willing to spend $2k. Prefer local truck. This truck will be used to haul parts, trash, fourwheeler, etc, not for customizing.

big paint problem

i painted my fenders about a week ago and i had a big problem today. i went to put my emblems on and i was using tape as a guide i first tested the tape on the lower part of the fender and exactly what i thought but didn't want, happened. it peeled the paint off. WHY? i sanded with 180 grit and cleaned the surface with degreaser. the paint says to use 2:3 with the approved thinner so i mixed 2 parts paint to 3 parts thinner. now the paint was coming out of the gun pretty shitty but looked badass ...

i finally bought my 96 splash off of my girlfriend "droppedgirl" and i took up to ziebart to get a new windshield put in it and have the windows tinted well i get there to pick it up and the scrathed up my door, the cowl panel, and the inside of my passenger side a pllar,............i got an estimate at a local body shop and it is going to cost $1200 to fix it all with out fixing the scratch they put on the roof, however they are actually paying all of it up front and not even bit*hin ...

Ever wonder how much carbon you use per day, week, year?

Did you know that for every gallon of fossil fuel you burn it produces 19lbs of Co2?

Here's the math...

Let's use my crx as an example:

I burn aprox 10 gallons of fuel per week.

10 gals x 52 weeks in a year = 520 gallons per year

520 gals x 19lbs of carbon = 9880 lbs of carbon

OMG! - 9880 lbs. Of Carbon Per Year!

Now..

Let's go a step further...

Imagine for a minute that all vehicles are Honda CRX's and everyone ...
