not ever having done a bag job before when i do mine i was planning on leaving it on leaf springs while i do my 4-links. once i get them all welded up i was goin to do away with the leaf springs. is this smart for the first timer? _________________

just an added tip.. for every inch of drop....add 1 degree of pinion angle. That's the rule of thumb. Now with that said, if you have a two piece driveshaft... forget it, because that changes everything. _________________ Byron Smith DropCulture.com

yeh i have a 2 piece. so i could jack it up tack the u-bolts on the frame and on the axle just enough to hold. then take off the springs. this does make sense and would definetely help when welding in the notch _________________
