man we need to get one of these down here in tx!!

would be cool to have the picnic on multiple locations...
it would def generate maximum impact.

ok, so the wife has plans for my bonus and tax return, so thinking about coming down isnt going to happen. but would love to make it down!

See.. here's the beauty of it all..
The picnic is not only for the DC members... but for all custom owners in the area.
This provides a chance for all to meet up, talk, eat, etc.
At the end of the day.... Everyone knows about DC, and the forum grows.
If it becomes annual... new members, every year.
Nothing bad about that...

Additionally.. the mags may be willing to help advertise with this "picnic" concept, since it's not the run of the mill show, and later may cover it as a feature once the event is large enough.

My last two cents..
I know most of you have now heard of Ground Zero (my car show)...
The picnic is next on my list of things to do.. however if it goes well, it may be that Ground Zero and the Picnic become a combined event, rather than two seperate events.
I'm tired of the same ole show format.. so this would be a great opportunity to change the concept.

uhh, YUP! i get very little. at least now a days. ive spent lots of money in the past, mostly on my hotwheels collection. now, with our 2nd son, shes really putting the binders on me.

Count me in...I would make the drive and or flight out there?

Hell yeah, show+picnic= GOOD TIMES! Count me in for sure! I can do some live on the scene audio recording for the podcast.

I would be down for the cruise....just depends on how far the ranger is....would be a looooooong a$$ trip....but those are the fun ones!

funny u asked.. I was discussing this today with a couple people i know in the car audio field as well as the pres of a pretty big local club.

sweet sweet i was just checking up havent heard much lately about it didnt know if anything was set and my boss was asking about vacation time for next year and it got me thinking about it
