Pulled over, within seconds

So the other day I pulled onto the freeway. As soon as I'm on the freeway, I see an undercover in the fast lane, so I keep it at about 65 and hope he passes. After hovering for about 10 seconds he brakes, pulls behind me, and lights up the bar on his dash. So I drive for about a mile to the next exit with him behind me. I pull off, and theres another cop off the exit, (crap) writing a ticket to someone else. So he comes up the the passenger side, and looks pretty pissed off.

Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Me: No sir.
Cop: Well see, you're missing about half a dozen things to make this thing street legal. License and Registration please.
*I struggle to get out my wallet, and give him the registration.
Cop: Whats a guy like you doing in a truck like this? I hate little cars, thats why I drive a Hummer. This some kind of project vehicle?
Me: Yes sir. Can I ask what is missing?
Cop: Are you aware of certain height regulations in California?
Me: Some. I am aware of the headlight, tail light and license plate height laws.
Cop: Good. Now I am going to write you a ticket for no tail lights, and also no license plate, which is going to be an expensive one.
Me: Sir?
Cop: What?
Me: I have those things.
Cop: Right. I looked already.
Me: Sir, if you look again, there is a bar at the top of the bed holding my tail lights and license plate.
*He steps back from my window and looks to the back of the bed. He then walks around to the back, and sits there for maybe 20 seconds. He then looks back at the other cop, who by now has issued a ticket, and is standing outside his car like he is waiting. He then looks at me, looking through my back glass, and walks over to my window again. He hands me my license, registration and insurance card, and says "Have a nice day son."

what a dick........
obviously this wouldnt do much, but write a letter to the local cop station....that's just complete sh*t!

hey may have been a minitrucer as a kid and just wanted to check out your ride. lol

he also may have been that kid that was always picked on is school and now feels he has to throw his weight around. i hate cops like that. funny thing is that you both know that you are right... silly cop,, it's a mini truck.

I think he was just embarassed that he messed up in front of another cop.

i got pulled when i first moved up here for no front plate, rear bumper, and tint. i told the hp i just moved from nc, where they only issue one plate, the bumper was at my dads, in nc, and the tint was legal in the state that i got it in. he just gave me a warning then. at that time, i was one of 2 minis in the area

i have yet to been pulled over in my car thank god
no mirrors, tilted license plate, stereo, tinted windows
and some draggin lol
