pressure washing your vehicle everynow and then works great. it helps to break up the inbedded dirt and grease in your cars finish. make sure not to have temp or pressure up to high or it will damage the finish. pressure washing your engine is sort of tricky to do if you have never done it before. if you do try and attempt, there are things that must stay dry. make sure that carbureator or tb is sealed up, distributor, and fuses, and probably something else that im leaving out. make sure pressure isnt to high. do not spray directly onto wiring or plugs. just take it slow and easy watching what you are spraying and how hard. try this at your own risk. for extremely dirty, greasy, or oily engines products like grease lightning and purple power work wonders. try everything in this post at your risk and your risk only.

It depend's on how dirty and greasey everything is under your hood is... I use simple green on everything. And then go back and shine all the plastic's with some lexol... It come's out looking good.. I did use a pressure washer once.. I had a ranger a friend told me to cover the coil pack with plastic and have the truck running. He also told me to have the defroster on full blast...I worked... I have heard NEVER do this when the engine is hot or warm cause you could crack the block.... not good.. bounce
