Sounds like you have had a series of bad luck. I bought a new tundra and rolled it a few months later so I currently have been having it rebuilt. Nothing like paying for something twice.

I dont like bills at all so I pay for everything cash. I financed my car 4 years ago, made 1 payment then decided I would pay it off. I dont even look at buying something unless I can pay cash. I am sure it will bite me in the butt one day when I decide to buy a house. I guess I will just need a big down payment or find a private seller.

i work for a place called honigs whistle stop---we sell ref and ump equiptment to everyone from little league to mlb and nfl

i'm in construction.. currently working with a non-union company which does pre-engineered steel frame buildings (all bolt together) and sheetmetal siding/roofing. I've registered with the iron workers union (steel framing/reinforcing/bridgework, etc) and now i'm just waiting for my chance to start out there.. hopefully soon, i'm talking on the phone about once or twice a week with the union president, so he knows i'm eager. I can't wait to work just with steel, learn to weld.. and no more insulation or caulking!

well got me a new job doing maintnance (spelling) work to hold me over till the bike building job comes available. cross my fingers.

i work for a company called UnderSea Sensor, Inc as an assembler. we make sonobuoys (underwater listening devices) for the U.S. Navy and other countries in the world...but mostly for the U.S. Navy. thats about all i can really say because what we do is considered "classified". it doesnt pay too well but its a job.

you know you have a sweet job if you cant talk about it cuz its classified

got my call from the union pres today! starting tomorrow morning 7am as an apprentice ironworker - a couple weeks 'probationary period' and then i'm fully accepted as a member of the union and officially an apprentice.

starting pay is ~20 an hour plus pension & benefits compared with $14 an hour, no overtime, pension, benefits, nothing where i have been working.

finally, i have a career, and not just a job. dang i'm happy.

and i don't wanna sound like i'm bragging by saying my new pay, i'm just really happy.. it's been tough lately, hours were low and my wife works contract and her current contract is almost up, so this is great news for us.

man, just dont fall off the roof. that will mess up your day. trust me!! lifelong 28% disability now, thanks to the boss not paying attention to what he was doing! hope it goes well for you. i do miss working with the steel. we still put some hangars everynow and then, so i do do a liitle bit, but mostly running the forklifts. hope it works out well for you!!!!!!!!!
