questions about 5.0l ford motor

so heres the deal i finally got a winter truck its a 1987 ford bronco with a 5.0 now the problem after i run it for a while and it gets warmed up real good then when i turn it off it wont restart till it fully cools off

any ideas please help lol i hate waiting

I dont know about the fords, but in hondas there is a small pice in the Distributer that when it gets hot it will not start until it cools down. I think it is called a starter control unit. but like i said i dont know about ford. would not hert to call your parts store and ask them. thats just my 2 cent

thanks alot man i was told by someone that it could also be vapor lock but at the same time i didnt think fuel injected engine could get vapor lock

sounds like some of the mzda problems. bad computers and all. only thing to advise is go through and check all the sensors.

lol im not even sure if it has all the sensor i got the truck practically for free and found out after that, that it was a wiring nightmare
