| Hey guys, Im looking toward getting an 89 b2200 with about 184,000km on it, it needs a bed besides that the body is ok, i was wondering where to look for rust spots? I know that is stupid but what is the most common place for Rust on them? and are they easy to fix... Keep in mind im in canada lolll, Well Ontario to be exact where they over-do the Salting on snowy roads!
I hope someone can help me with this...
Thanx rj | |

| man, just crawl underneath and look real good at the frame. most canadian mazdas need to be backhalved if they have been on the road for a few years. also, pull the bed off and take a look at the back of the cab, at the lower corners. | |

where the front of the fender has a mount to the inner fender lower rad support bumper behind kickpanels dogleg of front fender collects leaves and whatnot floor bottom of door inside the jamb cab corners the box floor the mounts that hold the boxsides from flappin around inside of stock rollpan
to name a few | |

| I went to see the truck it has a coolant leak somewhere near the carb and i took it for a drive it was fine when it was sitting start in the drive way once i took it for a drive and got back and popped the hood i saw coolant. Is this a big problem? i was thinking it could be a crack in a hose... what do you think??? | |

| be careful man. these trucks came with some crappy heads (IMO). make sure it is just a hose and get it replaced asap. also, make sure it isn't overheating. pull the dip stick and make sure it doesn't look milky. if it is, your screwed. | |
