amp rack

well,
For a while I've had my amps just sitting in the back of my x-cab, and it's really been bugging me, but I never had anytime to actually go out and work on it.

So, today, I had some time, and went out. It was a long and hot day, my jig saw broke (not fun), and one of my clamps broke (also not fun). But after all of that, this is what I ended up with. Still needs carpet, but that can wait...

yea man it does look good, i cant do wood work a crap. how long did it take you to make that?

not too long, but longer than it should have. Built the sub box a couple of years ago for my old ranger (as mentioned) built the false floor a couple of months ago, but was too lazy to do the amprack at the time (plus was really busy with other things), and then on tuesday I worked on the amprack for about 1/2 hour in the morning then had to do things with my wife all day, then worked on it for another couple hours in the evening.

So, 2 years I guess...

It just takes patience is all.

I know I need to get it carpeted, but I've been on days since I built it and haven't had the chance to look for carpet.

All of my wiring and distro blocks are hid inside the amprack portion.

well, I never did get any pictures of it covered. I'm terrible for not taking pictures. The truck was rotting out on me, got rearended driving to work, etc... so between what the insurance gave me and what I could get for it, it made more sense to me to sell the truck. So I did.
