im gonna need a new bed

well i got a phone call today sayin that my buddies girl backed in to my truck today. she said it was a small dent. she done it with a 4x4 tundra. i got back and bout cried. the little dent went from mid rear tire to the tail lights top to bottom. even bowed in the inner support of the bed. shes gonna fix it. but all the reason to get my 4x4 sheet metal. ill have pics of the carnage tomorrow hopefully.

got any friends in the auto body business? knew a guy that would change parts in the report to get better upgrades. like spoilers and stuff.

nah shes a very good friend of mine so i didnt call insurance or anything. we are working out between us. and you arent going to fix this. you'll see in the pics. i want 4x4 sheetmetal anyways

it sucks but now comes the 4x4 sheetmetal byron you got any or know of any around you?

that actually is repairable...
you'd need an inner bed side and outter skin.
however.. for what you'd pay to fix it.. you can buy a 4x4 bed..

yeh i thought the same thing. i want the sheetmetal anyways so. and im not payin for it so yeh. either way it sucks because i was going to put it in scrapefest but dont think i will with the bed like that. cuz who knows how long it will take to find another bed

yeh i definetely wanted to cry. she was ballin her eyes out. she felt so bad. all she kept doing is alternating between im so sorry to i promise ill pay for it. lol. i wasnt pissed at her just upset that it happened. she made me feel better though when i asked howit happened and she said well your truck is so low i didnt see it haha. i smiled
