| I bought the truck two weeks ago for $600, pretty clean and I have been itching to go low again. My first dropped truck was a 1986 Nissan that I bought new and static dropped the following year. There were no trucks i ever saw around here like it at the time. It's been along time to come back but I am building the it with my son so he can have it next year. Plans are a 3-4" static drop with spindles, chrome escalade wheels and a $50 paint job. The interior is in good shape and most everything works. Though I posted asking for some help in the engine section with a problem. Hope it's just the cat. Would like to go with the 4x4 sheet metal as alot of others want but stock looks clean to me too. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Help: Found this site over on BScene. Though I have tried repeatedly to be activated for the past two weeks over there, I have not.. If someone could give the powers to be a nudge that would be great. A few pics the day I brought it home. | |

Trust me, I have several. "The B" is the first non-V8 powered american car I have owned since 1991. Just got to get my leaning curve up to speed. My real goal is to keep the out of pocket to $1,500 minus the initial buy and drive it till my son gets his license in two years. Then if he decides to keep it go from there.

The $1,500 probably will probably be phase 1. I just really don't want to put an engine in $$$ right now. The area I live in has about 1M people so there are plenty of parts locally I have found already in the local shopper mag and at pick a part. My biggest concern besides the engine taking a dump is wiring. The truck has no dash lights, gas gauge busted and no stereo. Most of the stuff I plan on doing myself, wiring is NOT one of my strong suits though. I would really like to keep it all Mazda except for wheels (Escalade) but the Kia swap is something I am looking into.
