| my truck was an automatic until the 5-speed swap and i have the automatic dizzy in my truck which is alot thicker than the 5-speed dizzy. i have an extra 5-speed dizzy that i want to switch in due to the more compact setup that looks better. is there any difference between the two of them because i switched them and the truck wont idle now. im going to switch them back to see if it fixes it but does anyone know if they are the same or different | |

| dunno.. never had an auto, nor have i really known anyone with an auto.. sorry. I'd assume they are different for a couple of reason tho.. 1 - Size. Mazda would have just used the same dizzy accross all if not diff. 2 - Auto - It would need different settings for idle, advance, retard, etc due to tranny. 3 - Nothing is ever that simple... | |
