Cut the Upper Arm as follows: Then bolt the arm back up, and drop the truck as low as you can. The pressure of the truck will bend the arm in an upwards angle, therefore correcting the angle of the balljoint when you are layd out! Oh, when you lay it out all the way, make sure you put a couple tack welds on the arm to hold that angle in place! Then unbolt it, and weld it back up! Hope this helps! Dev

| i'm sure there is a way to measure the correct angle... but most everyone just eyeballs it. I pie cut and bent my arms then reinforced them with a strap welded in on the back side - just a note, if you pie cut and bend like i did.. use a torch to heat the arm before bending.. your not going to be able to sledge hammer it. I think i cut like 5/16" out and pinched it shut. | |

The powder is applied with an electrostatic spray gun to a part that is at earth (or ground) potential. Basically the part needs to be grounded! And as you spray the powder it statically clings to the part via electricity.. Once you are done there, you need to heat the part at a certain temp usually 300-400 degrees for a certain period of time! This cures the powder and promotes the adhesion process! I used to powder coat things as a hobby until my oven got too small! Its super fun and easy, but can be expensive! Dev
