well here is my hood. pretty much done except body work paint and having a mirror cut to fit. be honest with what you think about it.

i dig louvers.

mirrors are dang heavy, especially in full underhood size.

dont you lose anything with taking out the bracing? and how hard was it to do that?

the bracing has not been taken out. that is actually a skin from my old hood that i cut to fit and bolted on. it acts as a drainage system for the rain. and i aqcuired this hood in a transaction of mine so i didnt actually do the louvered work just the work underneath.

the hood looks sweet and as for the head lights,.... i like that ALOT it kinda reminds me of one of those old school vdub trucks
