| Hey guys! I'm looking to get some interior lights, LED bars or something. I'm just wondering what power source I should use. I know I could hook it up to my amp, but I was also thinking about the fuse box/board. What have you guys used? | |

| wiring it to your amp could make your amp or amps run hott!.. so wiring it to ur constant with a toggle switch is the best advice.. | |

| leave the amps alone.. run a dedicated supply from an ignition source (you can piggy back a fuse). fuse this lead, so if the lights fail the do not harm the fuse used in your box. if you want a switch, install it in between the source and the light. if you use a switch, and an ignition power source, you can control when the lights are on as well as when the key is off they are not draining your battery.
there is another way.. use a relay, with a ingintion source trigger, and constant power as the supply. This will do the same thing as above, but allow you to run more lights without drawing from the circuit in the fuse box.
good luck. | |
