| i need help like asap this effin snow is starting to move in and my winter truck is,...well being a pos,.....when i first got it the fuel pump didnt work so i figured out that the (+) wire leading from the relay back has a short some where in it so i by passed it and ran my own wire from the battery back to the (+) at the pump i did put a 20a inline fuse and a 50a switch in the wire,...well it started up for a few seconds then died but it did start right back up then about 30 seconds later died again now it will NOT restart,... i can still here the pump turn on but it will only crank and crank and crank
oh yea by the way its a 1994 ford explorer 2 door 4wd 4.0l v6

| i found out that i lost spark so replaced the crankshaft position sensor and boom the starter stopped working but i think that is just a bad connection | |

| Hey Rob. Not trying to downplay Drop Culture's forum, but you might also want to check out the Explorer Forum (http://www.explorerforum.com/). I used to have a 94 Navajo (2dr Explorer Sport base) and they provided me with a great amount of information on fixing the multitude of "issues" that it had. Just a thought. | |

| i actually think i may have figured it out i think it was the crank shaft pos. sensor but blazin thanks alot for the advise | |
