the accident i had a few weels ago...

well as some of you from the bscene know, i had an accident in the 83 about a month ago. i finally got the settlement papers in the mail today. they are going to send me a check for 1119.71. my 4 link bar got bent and it did a little damage to the bed side. basically what happened was i was trying to get my truck ready for texas heatwave and my battery kept dying and the alternator wasn't keeping the truck runing. so i went to pull it off the road into a shell gas station. i parked it and called the wife to come pick me up. i went home got the trailer and went back to get it. as soon as i backed up it dropped to the ground and the rest is history. here are the pics from when it happened.

why did you park on top of the cover?

thats exactly wat i was thinkin. but sucks to hear about the accident, thats a good lookin truck.

i didn't park on top of the cover, i went to back up to put it on the trailer and rolled over it. they are supposed to be locked but just my luck this one was broke. i didn't even see it when i was backing up, just my luck.

sorry, didnt see the part where you backing up. i read it as backing the trailer up.

oh, hahaha. it's all good. i just couldn't tell if you were joking or what. haha. let me tell you, that night sucked big time! i didn't get to be until like midnight and had to wake up at 5 to get ready for work. sucked!

lol i still laugh everytime i see these pics because i mean what is the chances of ithappening like that. sucks that it happened but how many other people have you seen parked in the manhole

yeah i was mad as hell when it happened but now it is kind of funny. still sucks but like you said, what are the chances.

Either way, you should be able to park on those covers. Man I will thinkntwice before driving over those when I am at the gas station. Those would do some serious damage to a vehicle that is traveling at a high rate of speed.

dang dude how fast do you go in a gas station?? alford wasnt speeding, he was backing up the truck to load it on a trailer.

dang dude that sucks.. I havent hit Bscene and looked around alot I have been keeping to a few topics thats about it other than that I am on DFWMINIS more...

I was thinking more along the lines of a man hole cover while traveling down a street. A fall like that would seriouse destroy my car.
