last week i went out to my truck, turn the key... nothing... so as i start the elimination process the pump doesnt turn on to presurise the fuel lines..
i got a new fuel pump and to my suprise nothing.. still doesnt turn on, so i started then with the relays and fuses but all is good there.
when i moved the harness around it then kicked on and ran for a couple days.. enough to get me to bumb f^ck NY befor doing it again. for a quick fix i removed the harness and directly connected all the lines through *i have re-checked the tied together wires and all is true to the original harness* but still nothing...
please help, this is my only vehicle

| did you try just wiring it up straight to the battery to make sure the new pump works? i have received parts from parts stores that don't even work. try that out and make sure it comes on. if not you may have got a bum pump. | |

| new and old pump works its something in the wiring else where.. i took a meter to the 4sec hot line that goes on right befor the truck starts and its not hot when the key is turned for thoes 4sec the way it should be..
i dont know if it is in the ignition switch or destributor or something i have no clue but its not the pump or the fixtures in the tank its something in the front of the truck
