| Interesting question, you should email Matt over there at: grantfab@saber.net and ask him, he'd be THE best one to give you a complete run down on it. | |

| u could drill holes every foot, or what you see fit, in the top of the rollpan where it runs along the box then plug weld them so that the rollpan is attached. weld the sides to the lower part of the box. and to finish the top u can VERY SLOWLY tack weld all the way along and file it smooth. Or if u plan on gettin a spray in boxliner u could have 2" of weld bead, TACK WELDED SLOWLY,every 6" then have a smooth coat of seam sealer, then boxliner on top to cover it. | |

| On a project I have a rule that it never goes into a shop. I have had people come over to help me, but never have I paid to have my project worked on. Its something about pride I guess. I am sure that devon wouldnt like his truck so much if he had paid to have all the work done. I am sure he knows what I am saying. | |

What do you mean this doesn't pertain to me? My fabbing knowledge might not be that great, but I know a hell of a lot more then you do! A skin is the same concept, just one solid piece! Dev

| A lot of those Roll Pans that are bolt on style give you the option to rivet them on! Who knows how GrantKustoms designs thier bolt-on rollpans! Dev | |

| With the weld-on rollpans...do u just cut away the original pan in the back and in its place weld the new one on...or does it get welded overtop of the original? -also- with those caddy tail-lights...couldnt u just buy the molded steel plates that cover the tail-light holes...weld 'em in, then just cut and mold the caddy tail lights into those? | |

| nah dev i meant you didnt do a rollpan. i wasnt sayin nuttin bout your fab skills. i meant since the skin doesnt have a lip like the rollpan did it wouldnt pertain to you. but at the same time i wasnt really thinkin that hell you've prolly done them before. | |

You cut the stock drop down away in order to put the new roll pan into place. And yes, you buy tail fillers and weld them in first, then do your cut outs for your caddy tail buckets to go in.
