| So instead of throwing in the SB this year I sold it and am rebuilding the stock 2.2L Is there anything I should look out for when trying to accomplish this feat I know I am going to be throwing on a Weber and a Sanden 708 converted to an EDC Which Weber is best for these little guys And any other info would be GREATLY appreciated Thanks in advance Dev | |

| are you going to get the head rebuilt as well? if so try and get the maual lifter assy installed from the 2.0 head. or just get a 2.0 head. you will love it so much more. whenever the lifters start ticking you just pull the valve cover and adjust them. takes like 10 minutes. also, make sure to get new head bolts. i got mine from this place... http://headbolts.com/mazda.html . they will save you a lot of money. as for the weber, i don't remember which is best i think it is like the 32/36 or something like that. i bought a redline carb for mine, it is basically a weber though. | |

| r u going mild build or stock build? i have the 32/36 i am .40 over all new internals and header. and opened up exaust. i wish i would've went 34 weber due to these upgrades. | |

| im using a 32/36...but mne is not running yet. this carb is for a mild build with fuel econmy. | |

| you can go to your local junkyard. and get the head reworked and stuff to be safe. or you can use your head. and go to mazdatruckin.com. he has links for the assembly and rockers etc. everything you need to do it. and find a 2000 cam and install yourself | |

| yeah, it is all bolt on. i actually have another assy. i think it is all complete, just needs to be cleaned up. i will check in a little while. | |
